He is survived by: his wife Anita Jean Austin; his children, Chad D. Paul (Janine) of Bluffton, OH, Tina M. Hickman (Tim) of Ingleside, TX and Shane E. Paul (Nicole) of Franklin, KY.; his grandchildren, Lauren Roberts (Joe), Justin Paul (Courtney), Caleb Hickman, Nathaniel Hickman, Faith Hickman, Aaron Paul (Robin), Ava Johnson (Lucas) and Abby Paul (Ara); his great grandchildren, Cooper, Callum Roberts, Arthur, Jasper Paul, Addison, Rylan and Asher Paul; and his siblings, Dale Paul (Pam), Joyce Heinl (Paul Steinke), Dawn Steinke, Darla Albers (Mark), Shelly Williams (Ted) and Kevin Paul (Cheryl). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory (1102 Lincoln Ave, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
