He was predeceased by: his brother David Shepler; his stepmother Kay Shepler; and his grandparents, Charley, Augusta "Mim" Shepler, Rudolph, Ruth Pore, Richard and Naomi Leiber.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Shepler Sr. (Peggy) of Columbus Grove and Dorothy Leiber (Pore) of Bluffton; his wife Beverly Shepler (Oberly) of Bluffton; his children, Nicholas Shepler (Onalee) of Bluffton and Melissa Hauenstein (Shanon) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Levi, Ivy Shepler, Makenna and Brayden Hauenstein; and his siblings, Frank Mull of Harrod, Julie Osburn (Ron) of Piketon, Bob Leiber (Laura) of Alger, Jim Shepler (Beckie) of Bluffton and Scott Leiber (Angie) of Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church of Christ, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
