He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Fortner and Elizabeth Fortner; his wife Nancy; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Lillian; his brother Glenn; and his siblings-in-law, Fred and Dottie Abraham.
He is survived by: his children, Brian (Susan), Mark (Donna), Craig (Laura) and Beth; and his siblings-in-law, David Thompson (Peggy) and Linda Fortner (Glenn). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
