She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jones and Bessie Helton Jones; her husband Preacher Raymond Earl Jones; her son Joseph Michinder Jones; and her siblings, Arnold Shackelford, Charlie Shackelford, William Shackelford, Walter Shackelford, Mary Richard, Loraine Phipps, Jesse Shackelford, Clyde Shackelford, Rachel Shackelford, Shirlen Shackelford and Paul Shackelford.
She is survived by: her children, Marcus Raymond Jones (Allison) of Lima, OH, Joyce Evelyn Jones Freytag of Botkins, OH and Chester Lafayette Jones of Wapakoneta, OH; her grandchildren, Joseph Jones (Elizabeth), Luke Jones (Anna), Audrey Jones (Nicholas Hager), Shawn Spade, Alan Buffenbarger (Robin) and Brittany Jones; her great grandchildren, Luna, Aurora, Stella, Clara, Madelyn, Nora, Jennah, Kyleigh, Lexi, Rory, Leelyn, Kallan and Amija; her siblings, Leola Phipps, Sylvia Evans and Leonard Shackelford; and her close friends, Frank, Esther Mason, Clara Schwartz and Michelle Yant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cawood Funeral Home (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Jones Cemetery.
