It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alta Marie (Baker) Codding of Bowling Green, Ohio, born in Shelby, Ohio, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nina Baker and Gutshall; her husband Charles; and her sister Marjorie Grant. She is survived by : her children, Marsha Cuckler (Brett) of Pittsburgh, PA, David Codding (Lisa) of Bowling Green, Janet Hammersmith (Tim) of Bowling Green and Charles Codding (Jennifer) of Bowling Green; and her grandchildren, Katie Abar (Jody) of Bluffton, SC, Laura Cerveny (Tim) of Bowling Green, Michael Codding (Jackie) of Bowling Green, Kyle Hammersmith (Samantha) of Bowling Green, Kelsey Carter (Nolan) of Findlay, Andrew Codding, Harvard University and Samantha Codding. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren with 1 great-grandchild on the way as well as 6 nieces & nephews, 15 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great-nieces and nephews.
