He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sofios and Helen Tamvakis; and his brothers, Ted Sofios, Nick Sofios (Virginia) and Johnny Sofios (Kay).
He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Sofios; his children, Jim Sofios (Nancy), Evangeline Johnson, Kim Hersch and Alysia Sofios (Dean); his grandchildren, Nicole Mifsud (Kevin) and Nick Sofios (Autumn); his great grandchild Mia Mifsud; and his son Charles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (42600 Ford Rd, Canton, MI 48187). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
