He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Guyer and Hazel Guyer (La Plante); and his sister Linda Rigby. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lu "Metcalf"; his children, Debbie Merritt of Bowling Green and Dennis Guyer (Lou Ann) of Pemberville; his stepsons, Ben Ireland (Ann) of Rossford and Aaron Ireland (Trish) of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Wesley (Cassie), Amanda (D. J.), Leslie and Erica; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan (Alex), Jacob (Makenzie), Riley and Abby. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home- Bowling Green Chapel (408 W Wooster St, Bowling Green, OH 43402). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
