Edward A. Dickendasher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward A. Dickendasher (Bowling Green, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Edward leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dinese Joan Dickendasher (Bale) and John Edward Dickendasher; his brother Matthew Lewis Dickendasher; and his brother-in-law Jim Amross. He is survived by: his wife Laura Dickendasher (Jacobs); his sisters, Lynne Dickendasher, Susan Dickendasher, Lisa Dickendasher-Baker (Mark) and Margaret Dickendasher-Amross of Ottawa Lake, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Elaine Dickendasher of Sylvania, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thompson Stone Hall, Otsego Park (20000 W River Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider honoring Ed's memory in one of the following ways: • A donation to Bridge Hospice of Findlay, Ohio, • A gift to the Henry County Humane Society of Napoleon, Ohio, • A contribution to the Lenawee Humane Society of Adrian, Michigan, • Or, simply by planting a tree in his honor or spending time in nature with your family while thinking of Ed, doing the things he loved most.
