She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Shiple and Rita Shiple (Keckstein); and her sister Patricia "Patti" Shiple. She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Shiple (Sue), Jeff Shiple (Jamie), Kate Donnelly (Rick), Mary Krall (Bruce), Theresa Richter (Paul) and Phyllis Wilkewitz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
