He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Carter and Alice Carter (Gill); and his son Thomas Carter. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jacoby; his children, Tammy Pollard (Tom), Jennifer Carter and John Carter (Kendra); his grandchildren, Mckenna, Cameron, Tommy, Tanner, Rylee, Trent, Jaden, Hayden, Clayton, Raylynn, Kyla and Hadley; his children, Sean and McKayla; and his great grandchildren, Zoey and Wrenley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 E South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (4560 Glendale Ave, Toledo, OH 43614).
