He is survived by: his wife Diane Kummerer; his children, John Beaverson Jr. (Michelle) of Weston and Samantha Szymanski of Toledo; his siblings, Thomas Beaverson (Rosie) of Toledo, David Beaverson (Kathy) of Perrysburg, Elaine Tollover of Clinton and Luann Lyons of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Olivia, Alexis, Kaylie, Madison, Blake and William; his siblings-in-law, Jane Bush of Tiffin, Martha Gibson (Charles) of Norco and Tom Kummerer (Janet) of Betsville; his nieces, Laura, Kim and Jenny; and his nephew Brian.
