She was predeceased by: her former husband Ricardo Girona; her husband John Kourous; and her parents, Modesto Galdo and Aurelia Galdo (Fernandez). She is survived by: her children, Alina Haas (Bradley), Rick Girona (Paula) and Debbie Sowa (Joseph); her grandchildren, Kennen, Kristen, Kelly (Ben), Ricky (Kate), Michael (Lauren), Spencer and Sydney; her great grandchildren, Georgina, Brooks and Beckham; and her siblings, Carmita Blanco (Getulio), Amelia Rodriguez (Rafael) and Teresita Sanchez (Alfredo).
