She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Dewey Garber and Josephine Garber (Poland); her husband Burton M. Eckert; her son Paul M. Eckert; her sister Noladean "Nin" Bunton; and her great grandchild Macsen Eckert.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Rita Eckert of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Randy Eckert, Joseph Eckert and Angela Shultz (Joseph); and her great grandchildren, Alexis Eckert, Josie, Ella and Eli Shultz.
