He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Mitchell and Doris Mitchell (Swanson). He is survived by : his daughter Jaclyne Jahna (Mykel) of Pemberville; and his grandson Owen Jahna.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: The Humane Society of Wood County or Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
