He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kasey Hoover (Kirk), Stephanie Arps (Ryan), Dana Cox (Mark), Ryan Slagle (Rowena) and Todd Slagle; his sister Nan Bretz; and his brother-in-law Bud Stearns (Carol). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
