With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elijah Hughes of Bradford, Ohio, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 24. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Elijah departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elijah may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elijah leaves behind.
He is survived by: his father Jonathan Henry; his daughter Layla Hughes; his siblings, Faith Henry and Janya Shavers; and his grandparents, Eunice, Paul Jenkins, Bill and Carol Henry. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home (327 W Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
