She was predeceased by : her husband Ernest W. Gear; her siblings, Paul Bazzle (Retha), Roy Bazzle, Mona Rutt and Ruby Karlen (Cecil); and her parents, Delphia Bazzle and Marcus Bazzle.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah, Gregory and Howard (Therese); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Schmitthenner-Gear (Becky), Joseph Gear, Geoffrey Gear and Meagan Gear.
