He was predeceased by: his spouse Meg O'Donnell English; his parents, William English and Noreen English; and his siblings, Patricia and William "Skip" (Carol).

He is survived by: his son Will (Diane); his grandsons, Owen, Emmett, Isaac and Xavier; and his sister Kathleen Dietrich (Paul). He is also survived by grandfather to his four grandkids.
