Clara A. Zackey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, at the age of 96, Clara A. Zackey of Bridgeport, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Clara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Clara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sr. Sliday and Julia Sliday (Bartok); her husband Louis N. Zackey; her son Louis P. Zackey; and her siblings, Andrew Sliday Jr. and Margaret Rose.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Ford (Jerry) and Susan Starr (Robert); and her daughter-in-law Jenine Zackey. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
