We are sad to announce that, on October 2, 2025, at the age of 67, Janet Secrest (Bridgeport, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Adkins and Grace Adkins (Burkhart); her brother Charles Leroy Adkins; her brother-in-law Curtis Devine; and her great-niece Ashlie Lingafelter.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Secrest; her sister Elaine Devine of Byesville; and her nieces and nephews, Mickey Jones (Jeff) of Old Washington, Missy Lingafelter (Steve) of Cambridge, Zach Jones (Tiffany), Mac Jones (Rob), Aspen Jones, Katie Thompson (Zac) and Reese Lingafelter (Jaiden).
