She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Josefczyk and Julia Josefczyk; her husband Edward Hritz; her daughter Cynthia; and her son-in-law David Simpson.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Kedward (Rick) of Wheeling; and her grandchildren, Christy Carney (Ryan), Melissa Anderson (Ben), Craig Kedward, Jeff Simpson (Michelle), Brad Simpson (Kerri) and Derek Simpson (Amanda). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren complete her family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (920 National Rd, Bridgeport, OH 43912). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (72581 Colerain Rd, Bridgeport, OH 43912).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the donors' choice in memory of Jennie Hritz.
