With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Phillis (Brilliant, Ohio), who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cynthia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Terry Matthews and Naomia Matthews (Wilson) of Brilliant; her husband Scott; her children, Jacob and Cassandra Myers (Dylan); her siblings, T. Brian Matthews of Cadiz, OH and Janice Hanshaw (Bruce) of New Alexandria; and her grandchildren, Dylan J. Myers II, Adler L. Myers and Elsie J. Myers.
