It is with sadness that the passing of James M. Bailey of Brilliant, Ohio is shared. James, born on December 8, 1948, passed away on October 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Bailey and Virginia Bailey (Melching); his children, Heidi Caldwell and Benjamen H. Bailey; and his granddaughter Hannah Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, James A. Bailey of Brilliant, OH, Erik Bailey of Yorkville, OH and Tammy Frazer (Kevin) of Brilliant, OH; and his siblings, George Bailey (Donna) of Tampa, FL, Jeff Bailey (Debbie) of Lorraine, OH, Kim Bailey (Ruth) of Unionport, OH and Linda Allen (Ed) of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wheeler Funeral Home (712 3rd St, Brilliant, OH 43913). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed in Jim's memory to the funeral home to help the family during this difficult time.
