Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lancaster and Pearl Lancaster (Brown); his daughter Jill Lancaster; and his sister Pearlene Uhrin. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Danso; his children, Lynn Whitmore (Dean) of Pennsylvania and Mark Lancaster of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Dana Kellum (David), Zachary Whitmore (Brianna), Elizabeth Lane (Thomas), Nicholas Whitmore, Kirsten Hartman (Tyler) and Amanda King (Cameron). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
