She was predeceased by : her husband Kamel Samuel "Sam" Salem; and her brothers, Alfred, Charles, Joseph and Frank Ratini.

She is survived by : her grandson Ian; her great grandchild Brantley; and her children, Kamel, Rafka, Salah, Sarah, Felicia and Emir. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
