He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ellis and Elizabeth Markle; his wife Brenda Peterson Ellis; his stepdaughter Andrea Marie Wolf; and his brother Ronald Ellis.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Ellis (Wendy Bosma) of McDonald, OH; and his grandchildren, Michael, Michaela and Anthony.
