He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Esther; and his brothers, Ronald and Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, James Rick (Pamela), John (Lara) and Jillian (Robert); and his grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, Zachary, Natalie, Luciana, Michela and Madelena.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to John's heart.
