Janis Zakis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Zakis of Brook Park, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Julija Kapostins and Roberts Zakis; his children, Robert Zakis (Kelly), Mark Zakis and Lisa Kraus (Brian); his grandchildren, Hannah and Ian Kraus (Inara Ristl); his great grandchild Tamara Hornak (Joe); his brother Uldis; his sister-in-law Irma Zakis; and also, Noah, Logan and Owen Hornak. He was also cherished by loving nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the United Latvian Ev. Lutheran Church.
