With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phillip Hughart Sr. of Brook Park, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phillip left this world on June 19, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hughart and Ethel Hughart; his wives, Joan Hughart and Nora Mae Blankenship; his son Phillip Hughart II; his great grandchildren, Parker Grace and RJ; and his siblings, Bessie, Sylvia, Johnny, Mason, Jessie, Goldie, Susie, Dempsey and Roger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia J. Mullins (Greg) and Kathryn L. Welcheck (Walter); his grandchildren, Phillip III, Robert, Jennifer, Nathan, Michael and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Gabriella, Tristan, Katie, Conner, Martin, Kody, Josh, Brysen, Viviany, Lilyana, Anderson, Christopher, Sean Jr. and Jaiden; his daughter-in-law Karen Hughart; and his sister-in-law Francis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Phillip's memory to the Thomas P. Perciak Family Hospice in Strongsville.
