He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jefferson "Willie" and Flora Humphres Townsend; his wife Margie; and his siblings, Opal Klatt, Evangeline Hughes, Nell Hall, Everett, Eugene and Eutrene.
He is survived by: his children, Doris June, David Ray (Michele) and Donna Leigh Kuhn (Ron); his sister Margaret Sue Fikes; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kuhn, Alexander Kuhn (Rachael Pratt), Olivia Kuhn and Kelsey Kuhn.
