We announce the death of Patricia Dawson of Brookfield, Ohio, born in Piney Fork, Ohio, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 84. Patricia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Krulcik and Mary Krulcik (Barnas); her son Douglas A. Dawson of Niles; her sisters, Ann Grayzar of Dillonvale and Leona Zifzal of North Royalton; and her brother-in-law Dwight A. "Moe" Dawson.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Yauger of Warren; her grandchildren, Zachary Yauger (Tara) of Warren, Taylor Yauger of Warren and Alissa Floyd (Cory) of Brookfield; her great grandchildren, Ashton, Macy, Sadie, Mia, Monroe and Brody; her brother Edward J. Krulcik (Janey) of Valley City; and her brother-in-law Raymond Zifzal of North Royalton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home (962 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica (343 Via Mt Carmel Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505).
Family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Saint Vincent De Paul Society or the Warren Family Mission.
