With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Jean Poto of Brookfield, Ohio, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Irwin and Matilda Irwin (Dunkerley); her husband Kenneth "Ken" Poto; and her daughter Kathy Lynn Poto. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra J. Poto of Toledo, Kendra A. Surano (David) of Greenville and Kerry S. Ellcessor (Jim) of Hubbard, Ohio; her grandsons, Kenny Surano (Katie), Evan Ellcessor (Nancy) and Jimmy Ellcessor (KayLynn); and her great grandchild Ari.
A reception was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Briceland Funeral Service (379 OH-7, Brookfield Township, OH 44403).
