He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Jenkins (Mary) and Michael Jenkins (Jane); his grandchildren, Scott Jenkins (Timica) and Jennifer Jenkins-Middendorf (Rodney); his great grandchildren, Jesse Jenkins and Martin Rector; and his sister June Boyer (Bob). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brookville Church of the Brethren or Hospice of Dayton.
