She was predeceased by : her husband Frederick J. Leonard Jr.; her parents, Francis R. Costello and Margaret C. St. Amand; and her brother Frank Costello. She is survived by : her children, Robert N. Mason Jr. (Joann), Robin Hatfield (David), Renee Darling and Regina Nicastro (John); and her grandchildren, Kristen Sato (Matt), Andrea Spencer (Chris), Danielle Hatfield Sprada, Sarah Hatfield, Lisa Mason, Tara Mason, Matthew Mason, Margaret Jewitt (Aaron), William Vincent and Tod Smith (Doug). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
