She was predeceased by: her parents, William Myers and Ruth Myers; her husband Clifford C. Schmidt; her son Brian Schmidt; and her sisters, Patricia Merrill and Virginia Riege.
She is survived by: her son Mark Schmidt (Anne Marie); her daughter-in-law Judy Schmidt; her grandchildren, Cassie Heitman (Greg) and Christopher Schmidt (Jennifer); and her sister Paula Gurney. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory (5555 Philadelphia Dr, Dayton, OH 45415). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Ft. McKinley UMC or Ohio's Hospice.
