He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Dove and Louisa Dove (Campbell); his wife Roberta L. Dove; his daughter Penny Dove; his daughter-in-law Debbie Dove; his siblings, Yvonne Emerick, Laurence Dove, Glenn Dove, Ardeen Dove and Elaine Baisden; and his granddaughter Jessica Lynn Dove.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Dove and Rhonda K. Downey (Jerry); his grandchildren, Blake Downey (Meredith), Jacob Dove, Jessie Downey and Kaylee Downey; and his great grandchildren, Graham and Margot Downey.
