He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Combs, and Marian Louise Combs, Sr. (Armour); his siblings, Ivan Combs, Jr., Robin Combs and Lynette Combs; and his brother-in-law David Hapner.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Combs (Hapner); his sister Susan Jackson; his sisters-in-law, Marcy Hapner and Charlotte Combs; his children, Nathan Hapner (Jennifer), Samantha Carter (Terry Mathews) and Amanda Koger; his grandchildren, Alex, Madison, Savannah Hapner, Owen and Charlotte Koger; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Home - Lewisburg (411 N Commerce St, Lewisburg, OH 45338). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Home (411 N Commerce St, Lewisburg, OH 45338).
