With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Angeline Szakacs (Brunswick, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Fotia and Josephine Fotia (Sessa); her husband John Szakacs Jr.; and her siblings, Paul Fotia (Rose), Rev. Ralph Fotia (Lydia) and Ann George (Arnold).

She is survived by: her sons, John A (Susan) of Medina and James F (Robin) of North Royalton; and her grandchildren, Steven, Scott (Jenifer), Jennifer Szakacs, Melissa Antonelli (Gabe), Timothy Szakacs (Kate) and Stefanie Sweet (Jason).
