He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Schodowski and Marie Schodowski; his son Michael Schodowski (Claudia); and his brother Paul Schodowski. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Mark Schodowski (Tama), Marilyn Schodowski, Michelle Dobbins (Bruce) and Melissa Happel (Paul); his grandchildren, Eric Schodowski, Evan Schodowski, Elaine Tapolyai (Peter), Elyse Schodowski (Joseph), Eve Schodowski, Jessica Schodowski-Shenker (Kevin), Rachel Hill (Brian), Jonathan Schodowski (Hallie), Charles Dobbins, Angelina Dobbins, Shannon Dobbins, Justine Happel, Abigail Happel and Eva J. Happel; his great grandchildren, Nora, Faye and Chloe; and his sister Maryann Gerbic.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Chuck's honor to the APL - Animal Protective League, 1729 Willey Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44113.
