It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Joseph Thiede (Brunswick, Ohio), who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy; his sibling Jean Shapiro (Herb); his parents, Henry Thiede and Mary Thiede; and his grandchild Jessi Kossin.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Betsy Lanzer (Mike), Lynn Kelso (Jimmy) and Becky Kossin (Ken); his niece Theresa Simek (Mike); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jarrod Kelso (Christina), Jonathan (Tina), Ryan (Kate), Brad (Mary) and Erik Lanzer (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Brayden, Gavin, Jaxon, Hunter, Alex, Josie, Austin and Logan Lanzer.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Colette Catholic Church (330 W 130th St, Brunswick, OH 44212).
