He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Lauerhahs (Goetz). He is survived by: his father Hans Lauerhahs; his wife Dolores Lauerhahs (Oberst); his children, Therese Sears of Brunswick and Michael Lauerhahs (Val) of Van Alstyne, Texas; his grandchildren, Dennis Sears, Jr. (Gina), April Sears, Katie Lauerhahs and Lexie Lauerhahs; and his great grandchildren, Emmitt, Ryan, Colleen and Aiden Sears.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Earl's memory by planting something in your garden or lending a helping hand to a neighbor—just as he always did.
