He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Markovitz and Ella Markovitz. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Markovitz; his children, Terri Wallace of Cleveland, OH, Christine Porter of Lincoln, NE, E. J. Markovitz of Cleveland, OH, Jason of Valley City, OH and Katie Markovitz of Michigan; and his stepdaughter Rebecca Arbogast of Brunswick, OH. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Beyond his contributions to the world of sports, Eddie was a man of great warmth and charisma.
