Eleanor F. Sklenka Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 97, Eleanor F. Sklenka (Brunswick, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Pauline; her husband Robert T. Sklenka; and her sister Paulette. She is survived by: her children, Renee (late Gregory), Robert D. (Susan), Linda (late Paul) and Rick (Becky); her siblings, Danielle, Martin (Charleen) and Brian (Jill); her grandchildren, Christina (Daniel), Matthew (Norma), Patrick (Solmary), Karilyn (Kenneth), Douglas (Ara), Donald (Catherine), Jeniffer (Keane), Elizabeth (Kier) and Kolleen (Christopher); and her great grandchildren, Marren, Dominic, Keane and Michael.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Colette's Catholic Church (330 W 130th St, Brunswick, OH 44212). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to any hospice of your choice.
