Don Ford wrote a sympathy message

“She was the best mother i could have ever imagined. My relationship with her was very solid and of much importance to both of us. Amazingly in the last 50 plus years, she and I had never had a disagreement. We shared humor, views on the world, society, politics and a whole variety of subjects. She and my wife Carol, also had a special relationship and also talked with my mother on a daily basis. We both will miss my mother more than words can describe.”
