He was predeceased by: his mother Agnes Rebecca Blair Sutton; and his son George Lee Sutton (Sherrie). He is survived by: his father Lindsay Edgar; his wife Jerry Lee Sutton; his children, Alan Gail Sutton (Laura), Mark Wayne Sutton (Candy Orcutt) and Carol Ann Sutton; and his daughter-in-law Ruby Sutton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home – Salem (1999 W Main St, Salem, WV 26426). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Coplin Cemetery (1866 Jarvisville Rd, Salem, WV 26426).
