He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie and Velva; his wife Emma Sue; his son Rodney; his parents-in-law, Boone and Gertrude Hall; his brothers, Willie and Delmar; and his siblings-in-law, Thelma, Lois, Rita Hall, Vera Hawkins, Floyd, Wayne and Estill Hall.
He is survived by: his brother Hargus (Jessie); his children, Deborah Hall Ellis, Ed and Randy (Sherry); his daughter-in-law Wendy; his grandchildren, Josh (Rickie Jones), Brandon, Bryant Ellis, Morgan, Tyler, Kristen (William Konnerth) and Melissa Shepherd (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Lliam Hall, Logan, Lucas Nichols and Lucy Shepherd.
