He is survived by: his wife Carol Byrne; his children, James Byrne II (Katy), Daniel Byrne and Maureen McGrath (James); his siblings-in-law, Thomas Moenich and Rita Byrne; and his grandchildren, Jimmy, Patrick Byrne, Seamus and Colm McGrath.
