He was predeceased by: his parents, Faiz Mokarem and Shirley Mokarem (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn (Meredith); his children, James Mokarem, Jr. (late Erica), Michael Mokarem (Kelly), Carl Darrin Filut (Birgit), Vincent Filut (Judy) and Angela Filut; his grandchildren, Michael Mokarem, Jr., Tyler Mokarem, Nathan Filut (Paisley), Jared Filut (Katie), Brittany Keating (Tom), Ryan Filut, Brandon Filut, Lexie Mokarem, Justin Mokarem and Alexis Narolewski; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Filut and Kai Filut.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Waite Funeral Home (3300 Center Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
