He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and May; and his siblings, Rosie, Edna, Betty, Elsie, Susie and Tommy.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Darlington; his brother Joe (Carol); his children, Terry (Bonnie), Tim (Lisa) and Kim Dubs (Randy); his grandchildren, Maureen Centa, Stephanie Spencer (Jeff), Tommy, George, Sara Mion (Anthony), Nina Pagliari (Tim), Matthew (Stephanie), Colin (Sarah), Noah (Ellie), Pepper, Abigail Allardice (Philippe), Christina Marchese (Matthew), Stephen Dubs (Stefany), Rebecca Ehlert (Alex), Adam Dubs (Chaemin), Josiah Dubs, Bethany Loutzenhizer (Isaac), Jason Dubs, Tabitha Dubs, Felicity Dubs and Candace Dubs; and his great grandchildren, Cory, Nicole, Angel, Chanse, Treyson, Cara, Nick, Elizabeth, Nathan, Noah, Elise, Maddie, Max, Pippen, Holden, Nora, Mason, Jackson, Amelia, Elvera, Diego, Hezekiah and Micah.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be directed in John's name to the Brunswick United Methodist Church Kitchen or Fellowship Hall Campaign.
