With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph V. Gezymalla of Brunswick, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Joseph may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gezymalla and Josephine Gezymalla (Ciosek); and his wife Gloria. He is survived by: his son Mark Gezymalla (Susan); and his stepchildren, Denise Topp (Steve), Robert Arendash and Phyllis Stephan (Jack). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waite Funeral Home (3300 Center Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Parish (929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212).
